Middle East crisis 'especially dangerous'

As Israel calls up 75,000 reservists and there is talk of it invading Gaza, the BBC's Middle East editor Jeremy Bowen reflects on just how unpredictable the region has become.

"This crisis is especially dangerous because the Middle East is more turbulent and less stable than at any time since the 1950s," he warns.

"The old certainties... have gone."
