'It's not a one-way track to death'

Dr Cicely Cunningham started her career as a civil servant but retrained as a doctor in her early 30s. She's watched many people die and says death doesn't have to be ugly and distressing, but it's not like it is in films. Until recently she was using the Liverpool Care Pathway with her patients and found it be to a very helpful guide.
