Prisons on a Budget - The View of the Prison Officers

On BBC World Service programmes we looked at how governments can operate an effective criminal justice system at a time when money is tight. There were 6 in the series and I produced 2. Here we got the view a prison officer in Britain - Mike Rolfe. He set up the sites Know the Danger and Know the Danger Worldwide, on which prison officers, and those involved in the prison system across the world can post messages about their working lives, the situations they face and their concerns about how economic austerity is affecting their jobs.
