UN inspectors have left Syria after spending four days investigating alleged use of chemical weapons:

A US intelligence assessment suggests 1,429 people were killed, including 426 children, in an attack in Damascus earlier this month; Syria said the claims were "entirely fabricated".

The chief executive of Save the Children, Justin Forsyth, is worried that the world is abandoning the most vulnerable in Syria.

Youngsters were "in the firing line", he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
