Killing of armed robber sparks ethical debate in France

The killing of an armed robber in Nice has sparked a debate in France over the right to self-defence:

Stephan Turk was held at gunpoint and forced to open the safe in his jewellery shop.

As the two robbers fled, he shot one of them dead.

Mr Turk is now facing a murder charge, but as Hugh Schofield reported for BBC World Service's Newshour, his case has caught a lot of attention.
