"We have challenges in Norway regarding both al-Shabab and al-Qaeda"

Links between Norway and al-Shabab are being investigated after the killing of at least 67 people in Kenya's Westgate centre, a security service officer in Oslo says.

"A lot of young people" are leaving Norway to travel to "conflict areas" such as Syria, Martin Bersen told BBC Radio 4's The World at One.

His comments come after the BBC revealed one of the suspected attackers in Nairobi was a 23-year-old Somalia-born Norwegian national, Hassan Abdi Dhuhulow.
