"I'm desolate and inconsolable" Racing pundit John McCririck on losing age discrimination case
The racing pundit, John McCririck, says losing his age discrimination case is an historic setback for older workers. The 73 year-old had claimed at an employment tribunal that he was sacked by Channel 4 as part of a drive to recruit younger presenters. The tribunal threw the case out, describing him as "overbearing and sexist" and said he was dismissed for being a "loudmouthed male chauvinist". He speaks to Victoria and to 5 live listeners.
