Massimo Catalani donates work to Barga

An emblematic mix of mediums this morning in Palazzo Pancrazi for the press conference for this years Arti Differenti exhibition of contemporary Art as the guest curator of the exhibition, the artist Massimo Catalani although unable to attend in person sent a video message from his studio in Rome which was shown on a large monitor for all those present.
Massimo was here in person last month and painted four works during his stay in Barga all of which he has donated to the Comune.
This morning the largest work, a sperm whale painting was officially accepted by the mayor of Barga, Marco Bonini.
