Just how open is the Web?

Openess was at the very centre of Sir Tim Berners-Lee's original vision for the world wide web. But 25 years on, how close is today's web to that idea -- and what do we actually mean by 'open' in this context? The BBC's Technology Correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones has been exploring openness online - and some of the threats facing it.
