Spanish Politician Assasinated in Leon

A leading Spanish regional politician, Isabel Carrasco, has been shot dead in public on her way to the party offices from her home on Monday in the city of León, the capital of the province of the same name and is located in the northwest of Spain. With a registered population of 131,680, it is the largest municipality in the province, accounting for more than one quarter of the province's population.
