Guildhall Art Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre

@GuildhallArt is home to the City of London’s extensive art collection - dating from 1670 to the present day – and including 17th-century portraits, Pre-Raphaelite masterpieces, and paintings documenting London's dramatic history. In the basement, you can step into the remains of London's Roman Amphitheatre, in which crowds watched wild animal fights, public executions and gladiatorial combats. Curator Julia Dudkiewicz welcomes you to the art gallery.
