Trading Standards boss who resigned after being suspended over Facebook posts had transformed department

Earlier this year, the head of Milton Keynes Council's regulatory unit resigned. Karen Ford had been suspended after an investigation was launched into claims she posted "gloating and vindictive" messages about members of the public on her Facebook page. But a Freedom of Information request from BBC Three Counties Radio has revealed Ms Ford transformed a department which didn't make a single prosecution in 2007 to one which brought in more than £40,000 in fines four years later.
