The #OnThisDay take on the anniversary of publisher John Dunton printing the first issue of #TheLadies'Mercury on this day in 1693. It was a single sheet #magazine and was only published for four weeks, but was in effect the first such publication for women and the first ever #problem-page, the proprietors promising to reply to "all the most nice and curious questions concerning love, marriage, behaviour, dress and humour of the female sex".
