At ODI's roundtable on 'Women, peace and security: what is the way forward for gender work in post-conflict and transitional settings', we spoke to Jelke Boesten from Kings College London about how women's inclusion in peace negotiation is often a box-ticking exercise, and how, despite the cessation of political violence in post-conflict settings, many women continue to live with violence.
