Belfast is the most tolerant city in the UK. That's the finding from a new survey into attitudes towards foreigners across Europe. The Office for National Statistics report says people in our capital city beat Glasgow, London and Manchester when it comes to being friendly to foreigners. But is that your experience? After a year when Belfast hit the headlines when a local Pastor called Islam satanic, campaigns to secure housing for "locals only" and more recently attacks on a synagogue, can we really claim most tolerant city status?
