News Report On Police Raids In South Cumbria (September 2014)

The Bay's Amy Scarisbrick was invited to join #Cumbria #Police during a week-long operation targeting offenders who are linked to burglary, robbery and drugs offences in Barrow.

Officers used search and arrest warrants to raid several properties in the town as part of Operation Specialised, following tip-offs from members of the public.

Barrow Police and Cumbria Police's task force targeted local people suspected of having links to acquisitive crime and drugs.
