Down the line from Gaza: 'I don’t know where people get their strength from'

Oct 02, 2014, 02:01 PM

This sit-rep comes from Amy Merone, Christian Aid's Communications Officer for the Middle East, who is currently visiting our partners in Gaza. Upon arriving in Gaza, Amy told us: ‘I walked past homes that look like dolls houses with their fronts ripped off, exposing the remains of people’s homes.’ It was estimated that over 108,000 Palestinians were made homeless as a result of the conflict.

Hear as Amy shares her current experience and bears witness to the courage shown by our partners. For more information, please visit: #Gaza #Humanitarian
