Boots Riley of The Coup: Commercial Radio Scared to Play Us

Boots Riley, the front man for The Coup and Street Sweeper Social Club joined Tim on The Library and talked about what happened when The Coup got played one time on commercial radio. He told Tim, "....each market sold 5,000 Coup albums per week. That proves what would happen if we got played on the radio....We didn't get played on the radio and part of it is that we have connections to real organizations."
