New legislation for Muslim groups in Austria

A row has broken out in #Austria over plans by the government to overhaul the country's century-old law on #Islam. The new draft, which is partly aimed at tackling Islamist radicalisation, forbids any foreign funding for Muslim groups. It is expected to go to the vote this week. But the official Islamic Community in Austria says the new draft law reflects a widespread mistrust of Muslims, and fails to treat them equally.
