Has west Africa relied too much on the international community rather than at least trying to help tackle #Ebola itself? Of course, western countries and organisations like the UN are able to mobilise vast resources for this task, dwarfing the ability of nations like #Liberia, #SierraLeone or their neighbours. But when I spoke to #Ghana's Foreign Minister, Hanna Tetteh, she told me there had initially been failures and short-sightedness by governments in this region...
