Listen to the interview with Kari Granberg, Project Manager, Viking Line, or read the transcript below. . Kari Granberg, Project Manager, New Building & Technical Development, Viking Line, welcome to Zero Vision Tool radio, interviewing at the Motorways of the Sea conference in Gothenburg. Can you please introduce yourself and your role at Motorways of the Sea? . My role at Motorways of the Sea is to give a presentation on our project, Make a Difference… so a presentation on Viking Grace and our bunkering LNG solution and our experience so far. That was my part of the presentation. . You have your own conference for the Make a Difference project here at Motorways of the Sea. What do you want to highlight from that event? . That this is something that is working. We can demonstrate ship-to-ship bunkering with 500 ships. This is a world record every day, so we can vouch for the fact that it is working and there are no problems. During this conference, I have found it really interesting to see different projects – real projects – in progress. It is not just papers, presentations, slides and so on; these are real projects. They are building these ships and converting these vessels, and that is really fantastic. Really interesting. . What is your experience of working with a collaboration platform such as the Zero Vision Tool? . I think it is really good. I was involved in different EU projects before… OPTIPOD at the beginning of 2000 was an EU project and also a converted passenger ship, so this is my third EU project. I think that it is really good, and we are discussing things at a completely different level with people in the industry. They are not just pure business talks, we are all on the same level. . Viking Grace has had visitors from all over the world. How do they find you? . It is quite simple. They can go on our website… but Viking Grace is very famous. Viking Grace, the name and the ship are more famous than Viking Line itself. If you say ‘Viking Line’, people mix it up with Viking cruises and so on, but Viking Grace is a brand in this business. Everyone talks about her, and she has had many visitors from all over the world, from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, the USA, Canada and so on. Even from Norway. . What is your experience of the conference so far? . It has been really, really good. One of the best conferences… absolutely the best conference. . In what way? . It is more hands-on. It is not just the usual chicken and egg discussion. Here we see real projects. This is as it should be. There is no end to the discussion. We are doing this now. . Thank you.
