Can Labour woo business once more?
Labour has launched its proposals to encourage small businesses, including tax cuts and an investment bank. The Labour leader, Ed Miliband called for "more inclusive prosperity," and he repeated a pledge to offer tax breaks to employers who adopt the living wage and raise the minimum wage closer to average earnings - which are £8 an hour - by 2020. But so far, Labour has failed to win over much of British industry and the days when the party set out to woo chief executives seem long gone.
