Mount Ararat - Eternal Symbol of the Armenian Genocide

Mount Ararat, now in Turkish territory, is a potent reminder to Armenians, particularly those in the capital Yerevan, of the lands lost as a result of the Armenian Genocide.

It is a holy site too. "And in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat." Genesis 8:4.

Dr Harry Hagopian - himself an ethnic Armenian - tells us why Ararat is something of an 'eternal monument' to the one million plus people who were massacred. #Armenia #Genocide #ArmenianGenocide #Yerevan.
