Nottinghamshire Police have told Capital two men jailed for killing a former soldier in a street race in Newark were influenced by The Fast and Furious movies. The men, aged 19 and 21 and from Newark, were jailed yesterday; nine years in a youth detention centre and nine years in prison. Detective Sergeant James Greely, from the East Midlands Serious Collision investigation unit, has told Capital they investigate crashes with the same resources at murders:
