We've all been there - a quick phone call on holiday resulting in an extortionate phone bill when we get home. That might be about to change for mobile phone users in the European Union. Members of the European Parliament have voted to scrap the extra costs of using a mobile phone in countries across the EU. Instead users will be charged the same as they would in their home countries. But, we are in for a wait because the changes don't kick in for a year and a half.
