Donald Trump Skips Final Republican Debate

In the US, Republican presidential candidates will take part in the final television debate before the crucial Iowa caucuses. There will however be one massive absence - the billionaire Donald Trump. He's boycotting the event over a feud with the debate moderator, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. The decision was mocked by one of Mr Trump's main rivals for the Republican nomination, Senator Ted Cruz. Are these clever election tactics or is Mr Trump running scared? The BBC's Tony Bonsignore spoke to the American economist Irwin Stelzer at the Hudson Institute in Washington.
