'BBC Senior Staffer Vented His Anger About Savile In My Cab'

The report into Jimmy Savile and Stuart Hall abuse found that BBC staff were reluctant to speak to managers about complaints.

The Dame Janet Smith review identified 72 victims of Savile - including eight who were raped - and 21 victims of Hall, over five decades from 1959.

The report found the BBC culture was 'deeply deferential' at that time.

Alkon in Moorgate called Ian Collins to say he finds that very surprising.

He says a BBC staffer who he thought was quite senior, knew about it, and was frustrated nothing was being done about it.

He says if they were telling a cab driver, then people must have knew.

Listen to the interesting call here.
