Destiny's Fast Pace

As I drift within the shadows amid the twilight of sweet dreams I race towards a shoreline with thoughts I wish to stream With hopes that all will not be lost from destiny’s fast pace I search forgotten memories which I’ve tried to keep in grace

Concealing the very fiber which holds a sacred key That opens up the door to a brand new reality We seek to hear the bells for it tolls for you and me Sounds which make the rounds for all too clearly see

Within the rigors of a soul beats a heart so uncontrolled Managed by ones who march like lost soldiers on patrol Towards the vestige of one’s life rides a wild sea Bringing ebbs and flows which longs to be flowing free

Not all the dreams which comes to us will we entail But those that do will ride atop a mighty gale Upon this ship of life we sail we’ll reach a safe harbor Bringing a final destiny so melancholy and somber
