Willie Mullins has just failed in his bid to become the first Irish winner of the British jumps trainers championships for 62 years.

Mullins had to concede defeat after Paul Nicholls trained the 2nd and 4th in the day's most valuable race the Bet 365 Gold Cup on the final day of the british season at Sandown.

Mullins as a result pulled out Vroom Vroom mag in the next race which was then won by the Paul Nicholls trained Ptit Zig.

Mullins gave this reaction to just missing out.
