Give Safe Water Mother's Day Interview

May 06, 2016, 12:55 AM is a volunteer 501(c)3 organization that was established in 2013 to provide safe water to those without access to clean water. It is located in Kansas City, Missouri and was founded by Chris Chaney and Kermit Fendler, local businessmen. Upon visiting El Salvador as part of a mission trip in 2013, Chris and Kerm learned there are many underprivileged communities that have water available to them, but the water is not clean. As a result, the families drink, cook and clean with water that causes sickness, disease and even death. Seeing this, Chris and Kerm felt compelled to help. In talking with each other and organizations serving these communities, the plan for was formed. Their solution to the problem is simple, effective and inexpensive: support organizations whose programs provide a minimum of 1,000,000 gallons of safe water. That means that 20 people can have clean water for up to 10 years!
