Financial services have long been seen as the golden goose of the economy because of the taxes raised from well-paid bankers, and the trade our institutions attract from other EU countries. But it seems certain that after a Brexit, the EU would insist that Euro clearing transactions will have to be traded somewhere else on the continent.
