Dr Paul Davies: "there seems to be a cosy relationship between the DfT and Govia"
Disgruntled commuters are protesting against the 341 Southern Rail services that have been cut and the on-going delays of those which are still running. Some passengers have had to find alternative ways to get into work, whilst those who're sticking with the trains are having to arrive early or being made late. There have been reports of people losing their jobs and parents not being able to spend time with their children after work because they're commute is so long.
Our reporter, Mary Newman, spoke to Dr Paul Davies, a management consultant and rail campaigner, about what's he's uncovered about the company which owns Southern—Govia Thameslink Rail.
