Piano Re:Public

The acoustic piano is a well-loved musical instrument in our culture, often learned during childhood, but long gone are the days when young women had to learn to play to find a husband. With modernity's displacement of acoustic for digital and the decline of the piano in the home, does the future of the piano now lie in public spaces, and what role does it have to play? Where are the pianos?
