BBC Radio Solent report: MP's group says border security 'weak' with three boats patrolling 7,000 miles of coast

Britain, as an island nation, doesn't have the capacity to secure it's own coastline.

That's the conclusion of a group of MPs which says the border force doesn't have the capacity to monitor the coast properly and that Royal Navy Vessels should help out.

It's an issue which the Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner has been lobbying the government over.
