A big tax row has emerged between the US and European Commission. The Obama Administration is unhappy that the EU is pushing for bigger tax payments from US multinationals such as Apple and Alphabet. A white paper released by the US Treasury comes as an eleventh hour attempt to stop Brussels from hitting Apple with a big tax demand.
