Today’s guest is super producer and DJ Steve Aoki…he stopped by the studio a few weeks ago to chat about his new documentary 'I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead'. As most of you probably know, Matt’s been fairly busy promoting his new autobiography 'All These Things That I’ve Done'…so he asked producer Ted Woods to step in and talk with Steve…turns out, Ted’s been a big fan of Mr. Aoki since his college radio days at Cal State Long Beach! They talked about Steve’s years promoting indie rock shows in his living room venue known as ‘The Pickle Patch’, throwing Dim Mak parties in Los Angeles alongside DJ AM—with folks like Katy Perry,, and Lady Gaga in attendance, and how bringing his rock and roll energy to his DJ sets really transformed his live show. So kick back, speed us up to 1.5x and enjoy our conversation with Steve Aoki now on the ‘Two Hours with Matt Pinfield Podcast’.
