- The show goes around the NFL and breaks down coaching situations as well as quarterback play. Joel and Travis talk about the Broncos quarterback situation and compare it to Brock Osweiler in Houston, in terms of money being paid. The show agrees on the fact that Denver’s defense does not ask a lot from their quarterback and they are playing incredibly well. Joel asks whether Osweiler is still “The Guy” for Houston after three games. Travis is a big fan of the way the Minnesota Vikings are playing defense and he believes that they are for real. A big match-up was between Odell Beckham Jr. and Josh Norman, Travis believes it was a tie regardless of Beckham losing his cool a bit during the game. The show also brings up the Texans defense and the issues that were exposed by the Patriots during the Thursday night game. Travis believes moving forward that the Texans rush defense was something to be worried about. Related to the Josh Norman and Odell Beckham Jr. feud, the guys talk about some of their most memorable sports fights like the one between Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan. Travis gives insight into how much trash talk is actual trash talk and how much is just love and respect. Joel asks about the Jalen Ramsey and Steve Smith incident and Travis goes into which players are real tough and which are fake tough. The show talks about some of the conditions players grow up in and how real things can get despite how it seems to the average fan.
