The discovery of crude oil in Lagos State is in line with the country’s objective to increase oil exploration and exploitation to sustain its oil production target, and remain relevance among OPEC nations.

But analysts say the implication of adding Lagos among oil producing states comes with great consequences which the authorities must work hard to overcome.
