Capital's been told a special code that helps you get out of unsafe dates in Lincs, should be used in the whole East Midlands #AskForAngela

Bars and students have told Capital they're keen for a code, which helps people get out of unsafe dates in Lincolnshire, to be used across the WHOLE of the East Midlands.

If you 'Ask for Angela' at a bar in Lincs, the staff will know you're trying to leave an uncomfortable or potentially dangerous date.

Then, staff will call you a cab so you can get home safely or help you break away from the date without any drama.

News channels in the States, Australia and India have been reporting on the campaign and Ashton Kutcher even Facebooked about it saying it was 'a great idea'.

Hayley Child (@Hayley_SMSC) is the Substance Misuse and Sexual Violence & Abuse Strategy Coordinator for Lincolnshire and came up with the idea and has been talking to Capital about it.
