Lithuania's singing revolutionaries
The political plates are shifting from the USA to the UK and in the Baltics they worry about what will happen to NATO. Our correspondent Kevin Connolly was there twenty five years ago when Moscow sent the tanks into Lithuania at the end of the Cold War. For this morning's programme we asked him to return to gauge concern. Kevin set out to find a group of women singers he remembers from the dramatic night when Soviet tanks killed unarmed protestors calling for Lithuanian independence. Broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Broadcasting House on November 27th 2016. Produced by Piers Scholfield.
