Memories of Mandela

In the early 1990s, Richard Stengel was chosen to collaborate with Nelson Mandela on his autobiography 'Long Walk to Freedom'.

The writing process involved recording hours of conversations with Nelson Mandela. Here are some of those original tape recordings, along with the recollections of Richard Stengel himself.
