Bruce Grant: former foreign correspondent, diplomat and foreign affairs adviser

As a boy growing up in the wheat and sheep fields of Western Australia, Bruce Grant didn't expect a future in Australia's foreign relations sphere. Bruce moved freely from journalism, to academia, diplomacy and politics. He writes that his life has been part of an evolving human story from the certainties of small history to the uncertainties of big history with its invitation to contemplate a common humanity and a global governance.
