Seit einem Jahr gibt es in Chile beim Tourismusverband einen LGBT Bereich. Auf der ITB war Chile erstmals weltweit auf einer Messe mit dem LGBT Reisesegment vertreten. Thomas Diedrichs sprach mit Freddy Yacubbuci von der Camara de Comercio y Tourismo LGBT Y Diversidado de Chile AG über Chile als LGBT Destination. Since one year, chile had an own LGBT Segment at their Tourismboard. The ITB was the first time, where Chile presented the LGBT Travel Segment.
