Attacks of vertigo and dizziness afflict hundreds of thousands of people every year in the UK alone. One of the lesser known causes of this syndrome is Visual Vertigo first defined in 1995 where symptoms such as vertigo and nausea caused by simple eye movements in supermarkets, watching tv or reading can occur. Dr. Diego Kaski is a locum Consultant Neurologist at the Royal London Hospital and set up an acute vertigo service in Charing Cross Hospital.
