'Solo' is widely regarded as one of the best songs Sandy Denny wrote. The track was recorded at A&M studios in LA when she was on a US tour promoting 'Sandy'. The song first appeared on her 1974 album 'Like An Old Fashioned Waltz'. Sandy also performed the song when she re-joined Fairport Convention.
