The Washoe County School Board of Trustees voted Tuesday on how to close a $10 million deficit in the 2017-2018 budget. The board was faced with a couple of options: increase class sizes, or ask individual schools to cut spending by three percent. In the end, the board voted 5-2 to increase class sizes.
