The Washoe County School Board of Trustees have made a final decision on how to close a $10 million deficit in their budget. The school board voted 5-2 Tuesday to increase class sizes. Trustees had until June 8 to make a final decision, but Board President Angie Taylor told KOLO-8 it was important to not put off the inevitable, especially if it meant eliminating uncertainty among teachers and staff.
