Chief Inspector Gary I'Anson is leading search for missing Glasgow man

Concern’s growing for a Glasgow man who’s been missing for exactly one week. Archivist Alexander Singerman, who lives in Shawlands, failed to turn up for a meeting in Ayr after he left work in the town last Wednesday and there’s been no contact from the 32-year-old by phone or social media since. His parents have issued an emotional appeal urging him to get in touch. Mr Singerman’s car was found near his work and he was last seen walking towards St Quivox, near to the Agricultural College on the B743.
