Red Hen, a great, Italian osteria, consistently is rated as one of D.C.’s top restaurants, and, according to the Washington Post’s tougher-than-tough, restaurant critic, “It’s all good” at Red Hen’s sister restaurant, All-Purpose, which is also D.C.’s top new restaurant. The restaurants’ partner and executive chef, Mikey Friedman, arrives with tastes and talk of establishing and maintaining good taste in a highly competitive restaurant arena. You’ll also hear from Daisuke Utagawa, co-owner of Kōbō, the new restaurant in a restaurant located inside award-winning Sushiko; from Jonathan Langel of Bobby Van’s Steakhouse and from Vinoteca’s wine director and assistant Manager, Kate Chrisman, talking “Rosé All May.”
