Were going to northern Colombia today to visit Mompós . This relatively remote riverside town of 30,000 people was founded in 1537 when the Spanish arrived and it’s historic buildings have brought a UNESCO listing. Richard McColl operates a guesthouse in the city, Casa Amarilla. He discovered the city when he toured the region looking for somewhere to live.
